Shop crashes internet explorer 8 and 10

    When i browse to the main shop using IE the shop crashes the browser

    the url i go to https://www.xxxxxxxxxxx.com/wp/shop

    i see the following error in my event viewer

    i also see the following

    the shop works as expected in Firefox and chrome
