I’m trying to get the tracking info (specifically the tracking # and carrier) that shipstation makes to show up as a hook in the email we send out automatically to customers post label creation. The problem I’m having is…I can’t get it to show up. So I’m wondering if I need to go about this another way to get the tracking # to show up in that post confirmation email the customer receives through the email customizer in WooCommerce

  • Hi @aminakbarpour

    Thanks for reaching out!

If I understand you correctly, you would like to customize the post confirmation email to display the tracking number and carrier of their orders, right?

I did some research and found this article about How to Customize WooCommerce Emails could be a good starting point.

Meanwhile, these forums are meant for general support with the core functionality of WooCommerce itself. What you want to achieve would require customization to do it. Since custom coding is outside our scope of support, I am leaving this thread open for a bit to see if anyone can chime in to help you out.

For questions related to development and custom coding, your best bet is to ask on any of these channels for support. We’re lucky to have a great community of open-source developers for WooCommerce, and many of our developers hang out there, too.

    Hope this helps!

    hey @xue28 thanks for responding!

my problem here is that these third party plugins fall into a gray zone. I go to ShipStation and they send me to WooCommerce. I go to WooCommerce and they send me to ShipStation. I go to WordPress and everyone shrugs lol.

I’ll try asking the developers if they can be of help here. Thanks again!
