    After upgrading to WordPress 5.6, Shipstation will no longer connect to our website.
    We have WP 5.6, Woocommerce 4.8.0 and Shipstation plugin 4.1.40.
    Is the problem due to the WP upgrade? If so, when do you expect an upgrade of the Shipstation plugin? We really don’t want to attempt to back down to a previous version of WordPress. This is the error that Shipstation gets when attempting to contact:
    An error occurred attempting to update orders: <!DOCTYPE html>
    <html dir=’ltr’>
    <head>
    <meta http-equiv=”Content-Type” content=”text/html; charset=UTF-8″ />
    <meta name=”viewport” content=”width=device-width”>
    <title>Database Error</title>

    Thanks for any help or advice!

  • Hi there,

    > ..After upgrading to WordPress 5.6, Shipstation will no longer connect to our website…

    I checked this for you and did not find other similar reported issues.
    This kind of problem is usually caused by either a conflict with your theme or with another plugin on your site.
    ?
    The best way to determine this is to:

    • Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront
    • Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce
    • Repeat the action that is causing the problem

    If you’re not seeing the same problem after completing the conflict test, then you know the problem was with the plugins and/or theme you deactivated. To figure out which plugin is causing the problem, reactivate your other plugins one by one, testing after each, until you find the one causing conflict. You can find a more detailed explanation on how to do a conflict test here.
