    Hello,
We recently set up ShipStation for our site. All seems to be working fine, apart form the fact that the orders are are coming in with the same incorrect order date of 31.12.1969. Very weird.

I have spent some time googling and have found a few people with the similar issues, but the fixes are not working (eg, changing the WordPress time zone, saving, then changing back).

One suggestion was to make sure WordPress and WooCommerce were up to date. Unfortunately, updating WordPress on our site completely breaks our current template, so this is an absolute last resort option. There is too much work involved in changing/fixing the template right now. We are running very old versions – WP 4.9.8, WC 2.6.2.

One thought was to install an older version of the ShipStation plugin. Although the plugin page says that it is compatible with our version of WordPress, I wonder if an older version would work better? I found a few old versions on the official plugin page, but they don’t go back very far. Is there somewhere else I can find old plugin versions to download and try?

If anyone has experienced an issue like this and has a suggestion on how to do a quick/temporary fix (while we work on a new site) it would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks! ??

    Hi there @ab83,

Very odd problem indeed! We aren’t seeing widespread reports of this, so it sounds like the issue is limited to something on this site. If you deactivate all plugins besides WooCommerce and ShipStation, does that fix the problem?

I know you mentioned the difficulty with updating plugins on the site; however, this really is the first and best step to troubleshoot problems like the one you’re facing. Apart from bug fixes and feature improvements, newer versions of WooCommerce and WordPress will have critical security patches that we would highly recommend installing. It would be worth the time and investment to update the theme on the site so that the WordPress and WooCommerce versions can be updated as well.

I hope that makes sense, but let us know if we can help with it more!

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.
