Shipping zones > my_zone > Weight Based Shipping

    Could you please explain what is the difference between
    – Shipping zones > my_zone > Weight Based Shipping
    and
    – Weight Based Shipping

    In Woocommerce > Settings > Shipping we have a few links:
    Shipping zones | Shipping options | Shipping classes | Weight Based Shipping

    We can go to Shipping Zones, and in the zones select the shipping method “Weight Based Shipping”, and set it all in there, just like in your demo site
    But there is also a direct link to Weight Based Shipping

    What is the difference?

    I tested with both, and both appears in the shopping cart.

    The settings you see in Woocommerce > Settings > Shipping > Weight Based Shipping are for the global WBS shipping method which is activated no matter what shipping zone is matched. This might be helpful sometimes to have the global method with or instead of shipping zones’ methods. If you are not sure, start with shipping zones.

    I tried setting both, and both shows up in the cart, that is why I got confused. But your explanation makes it more clear.
    I will stick with the Shipping zones > my_zone > Weight Based Shipping
