I have an issue here, I have 1 cheap product that costs $20 and I have a flat rate shipping $12 for it, I set it up in Shipping classes & zones, but the problem is when customer adds another product which is $800 and has about $70 shipping, cart shows only $12 total shipping, as long as the 1 cheap product (with a certain flat rate shipping class) it will always be $12, is there any way to somehow combine shipping on 2 or more items?

Can you screenshot your current flat rate setup?

I think this might be because I have nothing in the “no shipping class” field: https://prntscr.com/bi2uhx
I have FedEx plugin that calculates shipping right now and was experimenting with this new Shipping Zone feature

Shipping rates offered to the customer are from one shipping method. So if you want $12 for one product, and $70 for another, you need to add that $70 rate to this flat rate too with another shipping class.

    Does that make sense?

There is (somewhere in the new interface) a setting to use the shipping cost for the more expensive item.

    Ah hah, found the page:

    Shipping Zones
After setting and clicking the “Flat Rate” setting, a window shows “Shipping Class Costs”
Look for the last line “Calculation Type” and use the “Per Order. . .” setting.

Link with a screen capture shown here: look for the image captioned “Shipping method with shipping classes.”

Mike, that does make sense now. For some reason I thought I could use combination of FedEx & shipping classes, but it is either or.
    Thank you!
