Shipping Tax with Different Tax Classes

Hi there,
We have a Canadian site that sells different types of items. One of them is books, which are exempt from Provincial taxes (PST). Federal tax is still charged (GST).
We need to charge tax on our flat rate shipping ($15). If the order only has tax-exempt items, we only charge the GST on shipping costs. If we have an order with some tax-exempt items and some non-exempt ones, we need to apply the both PST and GST to the shipping. I can’t figure out how to do that.
Does anyone have any experience with that?

You can do this using different tax classes:
