Shipping Tax Calculation

    I cannot seem to get my shipping rates to be ￡4.95 inclusive of 20% tax. I have set the rate to 4.125 which should work out to be ￡4.95 with tax applied. However the shipping amount seems to display ￡4.96??? Any amounts around this seems to switch between ￡4.94 and ￡4.96…

    Any help would be appreciated.

  • Hi Jesse,

    If I understood correctly, it looks like that you added the shipping rates manually and it is showing differently on your side?

    Are you able to confirm if you are using automated taxes on your site? You should be able to see that going to WP Admin > WooCommerce > Settings > Tax.

    If the automated taxes are enabled, the manual taxes that you are added shouldn’t work and the automatic taxes would be added on the checkout instead.

    In case you don’t have automated taxes enabled, that’s not an issue with WooCommerce Shipping & Tax, but actually with the WooCommerce core itself.
