Shipping states “FREE!” when in fact it is not free.

  • Greetings, This is a very functional well thought out cart. However as with all things there is room for perfection.

    I want to point out if the option ‘Show Shipping & Tax’ is selected the flow of the cart can be confusing to the customer and we all know confusion leads to no sale.

    When this option is used while not logged in, all items added to the cart will display “FREE” for shipping. Now, if your site offers free shipping for all products this to a win win.

    To make this functionality better I suggest that “Free” is removed and replaced with something more functional.

    I am aware of this issue.
    If your shipping is based on address & until the customer puts his address, it will show free.
    To fix it, we need to add shipping calculator.
    This update was due this week, but got busy with other plugin updates.
    I would surely update it by next week.
