shipping setup – confused

    Hi guys

    having an issue getting my head around using the module, but I think its more to do with the way the client wants the shipping setup itself.

    He has asked it to be setup as follows and not sure if this is possible or not:

    Our shipping costs are ￡4.95 up to 5.5kg

    Then ￡6.00 from 5.6kg to 22kg

    Then an additional ￡0.35 per kg for over 22kg

    So if an item was 25kg (3kgs over 22kg) the postage cost would be ￡7.05 (3kg @ ￡0.35 each = ￡1.05 + ￡6.00 = ￡7.05)

    Any help or pointers appreciated – many thanks in advance, Mark

    Hi!

    Please update to the latest 2.4.0 version. After that you can have the following setup which I hope is suitable for your needs.

    Here the list of WBS configuration profiles you need to create:
    1. Profile for “Our shipping costs are ￡4.95 up to 5.5kg”: Max Weight: 5.5, Handling Fee: 4.95.
    2. Profile for “Then ￡6.00 from 5.6kg to 22kg”: Min Weight: 5.6, Max Weight: 22, Handling Fee: 6.
    3. Then an additional ￡0.35 per kg for over 22kg: Min Weight: 22.01, Handling Fee: 6, Handling Rate: 0.35, Extra Weight Only: checked, Weight Step: 1 (latest one is useful if you want to round up weight by 1kg before applying Shipping Rate to it).

    Please let me know if that works for you.
