    Hello Everyone at WC Support,

I am writing to you because we’re facing something really weird on the checkout page.
After setting the free shipping threshold and shipping rates on the WC settings page, we have been testing the checkout experience and customers and realized that somehow, WC is dividing the aforementioned free shipping thresholds and shipping rates by 1000.

    Example (see attached screenshots):
We’ve set the free shipping threshold at $30.000 (Chilean Pesos, CLP$) and the store is granting the free shipping option to a customer that’s placing an order for $11.350.
The store is also providing the option to pay for shipping and the cost of the latter, instead of being displayed as $3.570, it’s shown as $4.

You can find evidence of this in the screenshots displayed inside this Gdrive folder:
    https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1400_yx1ThwZ02t7CZIAUXzZjjinle_Fb?usp=sharing

The currency set for the store, as shows in one of the screenshots is CLP$, Chilean peso and it’s working OK on the rest of the store by displaying prices properly (we use ” . ” for thousands and ” , ” for decimals).

We’re not using any kind of shipping or checkout plugins on the store.

We’d appreciate that you can help us sort this issue.

same problem with many woocommerce stores!

Hey there, @christianshb! Thanks for contacting us. I’m happy to help you.

From your description, I believe this is duo to this bug reported on GitHub here.

But as seen on the report, the issue happens when you re-save the shipping settings. Do you mind testing this so we can know for sure if this is this bug or if we need to keep investigating your case? ??

Please follow the steps below to test it:

    1. Delete the current free shipping you have
    2. Create a new free shipping method with a minimum amount (don’t use the “Rest of the world” zone)
    3. Test the cart to see if the issue persists
    4. If everything seems fine, then edit the free shipping method, click save
    5. Test the cart again to see if the issue came back

Please let us know how it goes.

If it is the same bug, our team is already working on it and it will be fixed as soon as possible. If it is something different, we’re here to help you investigate what is causing it ??

    Looking forward to your reply.

    Have a wonderful day!

    Hey, @tuyotienda!

Are you facing issues with free shipping too?

If so, is it the issue described on the GitHub report I linked here?

If it is not, per WordPress forum guidelines, would you mind opening up a new thread for this so that we can keep things organized and offer more personalized support for you? We’ll be happy to help you out with this over there!

    Have a wonderful day!

    Hi CarolM29,

    Thanks for your prompt response.

I carried out the test you proposed and interestingly, this time the shipping fees applied to standard orders worked fine…. same thing happened with orders that qualified for ‘free shipping’.

It seems that WooCommerce went back to normal and stopped toying with the decimal separator.

If WooCommerce begins behaving strangely once again, I’ll let you know.

    Regards,

    Christian
