    Hi,

    Just got a little problem. When completing a profile I have to choose a shipping policy. Just before this I selected Other Courier 3-5 days, for the Shipping Service. Shipping Policy then gives me various options but are basically 1, 2, 10, 15 or 30 days.

    When I log in on ebay & go into ‘revise item’ I can see where my option appears, & here there is the option to select Other Courier 3-5 days. Why can’t I choose it while creating a profile?

    I am happy to assist you today.

    First off, if you set a shipping policy, none of the shipping settings in the listing profile will be used. The shipping policy over rides all other shipping settings.

    Now, if you are missing a shipping policy in WP-Lister you should refresh your account details which will update WP-Lister with your shipping policies and other account data in your eBay account. To do this simply browse to eBay > Settings > Accounts > Click “refresh account details” in WP-Lister. Once that is done you then should see all of your shipping policies in the listing profile.

    To clarify are you saying that the shipping method “Other Courier 3-5 days” does now show up as an option for shipping methods in the listing profile? A refresh as explained above may fix that. But either way, if you have to/want to use a shipping policy, simply select the proper shipping policy in the listing profile and that is all you will need to do, since setting a shipping method in the listing profile won’t do anything if you select a shipping policy.

    Hi John,

    Thanks for a quick reply.

    I’ve tried refresh account details & it’s still not showing up.

    To clarify, in edit profiles the section Shipping Options. On the right I’ve selected ‘Use Flat Shipping’. Then the next line on the left there’s ‘Shipping Service’ & I’ve selected ‘Other Courier 3-5 days’. There’s ‘Shipping Policy’ at the bottom, which I tried to leave blank but when I went to verify the listing it came back with error. It said I had to choose a payment policy, & once I did that it said I had to select shipping policy & returns policy.

    But the problem is in Shipping Policy my choices are just the ones mentioned.

    Yes, eBay is slowly forcing users to use policies for shipping, returns, and payments, so it sounds like your account is one of the accounts that now must use policies only. If you are missing a shipping policy that contains the shipping settings you want to use, you must add or edit a shipping policy on eBay, then refresh your account details, then select the appropriate shipping policy in your listing profile of WP-Lister.
