Shipping Phone Number Not Appearing in Order Email

Looks like the email templates you’re using may be out of date seeing as billing info is missing. There is no shipping phone number field, its a billing phone number.

Oh that might be a problem as we need phone number to be written on the delivery package.

is the newest update will fix this?
or any other way for me to update the email templates?

Check WooCommerce > System Status to see if you do indeed have email tempalte overrides.

Does the order have billing address, and how is the order created?

Yes. billing address is there in the Order email.

I am still testing my store, so I use it to purchase my own item.

First, I fill up form in the Checkout page, including phone number. Then I choose Paypal as payment method. As I finished with Paypal, it sent me back to Checkout page.

Then as store owner, I received an email from WooCommerce saying that there is a new order. I received all details, except for phone number.

And as purchaser, I received an email saying that the store has received my order.

Strangely enough, I just realized that not only the phone number is missing, the billing address is also empty. Only the Shipping address is filled with the information.

Even if I go to WooCommerce > Order, the order will have no phone number and blank billing address.

I am terribly sorry. I have found the real reason this is happening. It was not WooCommerce itself, but another plugin, Paypal Express. I change the payment method to COD, and it totally works.

I am sooooo sorry for wasting your time. And thank you for answering my questions.
