    Hi there,

Before installing this plugin i could use the following tag/shortcode to display the shipping option the customer chose on checkout

    %shipping_option%

I cant seem to find your alternative tag/shortcode to achieve the same result … am i missing something? as i really need to display shipping option in my transactions result admin e-mail and page.

    Many thanks

    Hi there,

Thanks for using my plugin. You’re right – my plugin replaces the content templating that WPEC uses for receipt emails. However, it does not yet template the content for admin reports. So it shouldn’t be interfering with admin emails or pages. Can you confirm that it is impacting admin reports or any web pages?

Have a look at the sample templates in the plugin’s “theme” subfolder, I believe the content template demonstrates the tags for shipping information. Does that answer your question?

    Cheers,

    Jacob

    Hi There,

Firstly thank you for the fast reply, just to make sure i understand the plugins features correctly this is what i have and the way i thought it works.

Standard plugin installed, purchased the “Transaction Result Page” option.

I understand what the following tab/settings does Email Content, Email Template, Products Table, Invoice Template, Invoice CSS. However i was under the impression that the transaction result page handles both the “results page on the website (after checkout) as well as the admin e-mail content.

Which by your msg above seems to imply that the old “Store” admin section still controls the content of the admin e-mail under the “Customer Purchase Receipt” section?

I have looked at the subfolders of the plugin and can not find a “themes” folder.

What i am really trying to achieve is display via the old %shipping_option% tag or your variation of that tag the shipping option the customer picked during checkout. When i look at all the options you have available in the “Checkout Fields” drop down list i cant seem to find any that links to “shipping options”

    Hi Theo,

I’m a little confused by your reply.

There’s nothing to purchase in my plugin. My settings page doesn’t have any tabs, There are no headings with those names, and no Checkout Fields drop-down. Are you sure you’re using my plugin?

My apologies … feel like a complete idiot now!

Something went wrong when i click on the support link in the plugin i am using and somehow i ended up on your plugin page here on the WordPress site. Funny enough your plugin has a similar name to the one i am using. I didnt even check to confirm the plugin name as i just took it for granted i am at the correct place since your plugin handles the very same features the one i am using.

WordPress must have served me the incorrect author’s support page!

    Once again ….

My apologies for wasting your time, but i am still very impressed with your speedy response …. i have a funny feeling i wont get the same kind of service from the actual author of the plugin i am using.

    Kind Regards,

    Hi There,

I am using “WP e-commerce shop styling”

Hopefully you dont get more people here from that plugin by mistake, probably just a isolated incident.

    Thanks
