Shipping method not hiding for regular customers

    I’ve set up a rule that value local_pickup:5 only shows for ‘administrator’ and ‘local_pickup_customer’ user roles. But when visiting site as guest or logged in as a regular ‘customer’ user role, I can still see Local pickup option.

    So I’m looking for administrator and local_pickup_customer to be able to see local pickup AND all other shipping options and customer can ONLY see regular shipping options (no local pickup option).

    Any help would be appreciated!

    Hi,

    Once you setup the rule in our plugin, please change the shipping address in cart to see if applied or not by default it will show cached shipping methods.

    Also I will try to explain how to setup rules for your case.

    Say you have got 4 user roles like administrator, local_pickup_customer, guest and regular.

    And you want to hide local_pickup:5 for all user roles except administrator and local_pickup_customer.

    So rule will contain User role as all roles except administrator, local_pickup_customer. In our case it will contain guest and regular, Countries for which you want to apply, Shipping methods as local_pickup:5.

    This is how it will hide the shipping method local_pickup:5 for all user role except administrator, local_pickup_customer.

    Please note once rule is setup please change the shipping address or change the product quantity to see the changes.

    Thanks for the reply! I had it backwards. Instead of adding the roles I didn’t want to see the method, I had added the roles I wanted to see it. It is working now!! You could probably cut down on support tickets if you added some better documentation. The UI is a little unclear and confusing tbh.
