I am having a minor issue with the selected shipping method kind of half being selected within Apple Pay.

E.g. I have two shipping methods on the checkout.

    1. Paid Shipping ($12)
    2. Local Pickup ($0)

When I select option 2 on the checkout page, and then press the Apple Pay button, the LABEL of method 1 is displayed on the AP confirmation, but the PRICE of method 2 is shown in the total.

    Any help appreciated.

    Hi @frankyw,

When you say the label of method 1 is displayed on the AP confirmation do you mean in the Apple Pay wallet you’re seeing the label for method one but the price is correct?

Do you have a url you can share where I can observe this behavior?

    Kind Regards,

    Hi @mrclayton

Yes, that is correct, selecting option 2 on the cart page prior to pressing the Apple Pay button, results in the label of option 1. So correct price, wrong label.

    Site is truenorthspice.com

    Hi @frankyw,

I was able to re-create this behavior on my testing site. I will need to take a look and see if Apple Pay changed how their sorting works. In the past, whichever shipping option appears first in a list was the selected one, so the plugin sorts the shipping methods that way.

This behavior is definitely a recent development. I will keep you posted.

    Hi @frankyw,

I found out why it’s showing the wrong shipping label in some scenarios. I have made a note to include a fix for that in the next release.

Thank you for bringing it to my attention.

Thank you for the quick response @mrclayton, I am glad I was able to catch this and you have already identified the root cause.

    Cheers.
