I installed the last update when it was rolled out on June 15th, but had not tried to print a shipping label until today, when I found that I was unable to do so on Chromium based browsers.

The whole process is completed and the site executes the label creation and purchase, but nothing happens afterwards and a PDF of the label is not saved like always happened before.

The updated process works in an ancient install of Firefox, but does not work in the Chromium bases browsers I’ve got.

It started working again in Chromium when I rolled your latest update back, so I know the problem was created by the last Woocommerce Services update.

Looks like you guys fixed the Safari users’ problem and created one for Chromium users instead.

It doesn’t produce a blank label, it just won’t print or download anything at all when you click that button. The dialog closes and the page refreshes like everything is OK, but nothing actually happens.

After I rolled back the last update it all works as it should, just like it always has.

Whatever you all changed in the this last update on the 15th needs to be looked at, ’cause it’s made my site unusable for shipping now.

    Thank you for your time.

  • Hi there,

Thank you for contacting us about this issue that you are facing with the shipping labels on Chromium.

That looks really odd, but I wasn’t able to test/reproduce this issue specifically and I also don’t see specific reports like that from my end.

With that in mind, can you confirm if you tried to have a full conflict test as well?

The best way to determine if the issue is being caused by a theme and/or plugin is to temporarily switch your theme to Storefront and disable all plugins except for WooCommerce and WooCommerce Shipping & Tax. Finally, test to see if the issue is resolved by trying to print a new label using Chromium.

To figure out which plugin is causing the problem, continue to the next step – reactivate your other plugins one by one, testing after each, until you find the one causing conflict.

Here’s a more extensive explanation in our docs: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/how-to-test-for-conflicts/

Nothing in the installation changed except for updating your plugin.

    Updated your plugin, problem occurred.

Rolled back the update on your plugin to the previous version, problem disappeared.

I am not going to pull down my entire site and spend several hours methodically re-enabling everything to figure out that it is actually in fact your plugin that is causing itself not to work.

This is very simple, it worked before the update, nothing else changed, and if I apply the last update, it stops working.

I’m experiencing the “Unexpected server error.” and am unable to print the shipping label as well. This is a fresh WordPress WooCommerce installation with just the WooCommerce, WooCommerce Shipping & Tax, and WooCommerce Payments installed.

The logs do not show any errors. We are using the WooCommerce Storefront theme with no extensions. Will try to roll back the plugin as logicindustries suggested above.

    Hi @logicindustries,

I totally understand your point. However, we recommended a conflict test because we’re unable to replicate the issue on our end.
