Tax isn’t calculating

    We are currently facing problems with the tax calculations as the automated tax calculation system has stopped functioning. The tax rates are only being displayed for previous records in the standard tax rates, resulting in the absence of tax rates for any new addresses used by visitors.
    For instance, if someone enters the address “Fort Smith, Arkansas, 72901, US,” the tax rates will not be displayed. https://prnt.sc/8leGbST3TSd_

    We tried activating the default theme Storefront and disabling all plugins except for Jetpack,?WooCommerce, and?WooCommerce Shipping & Tax, but nothing worked.
    Can you help with this issue, please?

    I understand that tax is not being calculated for new addresses inputted in your store, correct?

    I checked your site, added a product to cart and confirmed the issue here as you can see below:

    For us to investigate this further, please provide us with a screenshot of the following settings below:

    • General Settings (WooCommerce > Settings > General)
    • Tax Settings (WooCommerce > Settings > Tax)
    • Tax Classes (Standard Rate, Reduced Rate, etc)

    If you don’t already have a screenshot service installed, you can try https://snipboard.io. You can share the direct link to the image as a response to this topic.

    Furthermore, I’d like to understand your site properly. Please share your System Status Report that you can find via WooCommerce > Status. Select Get system report and then Copy for support. Once you’ve done that, you can paste it into your reply here.

    If you could also provide the fatal error logs (if any) under WooCommerce > Status > Logs.

    I was checking adding an item into the cart then providing a Californian address and I got $.0.00 taxes.

    Even when receiving a $0.00 taxes, the configuration could be working correctly.

    WooCommerce Shipping & Tax collect taxes in locations where you have a tax nexus.

    A tax nexus is a connection or relationship between a seller and a particular state or jurisdiction that requires the seller to collect and remit sales tax on transactions that occur within that jurisdiction.

    You can try to perform a test using an address located in the same state where the shop is situated. Will sales tax be applied in this scenario?
