Hi, since the latest update the strangest thing happens.
I have a standard shipping fee (7,25) and above a certain amount, let’s say 50,- shipping is free.

When people make an order which includes a composite product, this doesn’t work.
The people still see only the shipping fee of 7,25.
If they only choose non-composite products, it works fine.

My shipping settings within the composite products are: apply to whole composite.
My shipping settings within the product is shipment class : no class.

I’ve many customers who call me because they are confused or they don’t place the order at all.
please be so kind to assist.

    Hi @bijdrager ,

For your case, with the Shipping method applies to the main composite, then you should assign a shipping class for your composite in the Shipping tab so that when the total reaches a certain amount, the shipping fee will be reduced to 0.

If there are composites that have the preselected subtotal of over the free shipping line already, you can assign the Free Shipping class for them.

The smart composite will be treated as other standard products on your site, so there mus be a shippping class and shipping method to be assigned each.

You can read more about that here: https://doc.wpclever.net/wooco/composite-details/shipping-fee/

    Best regards.

Hi Janilyn, thank you for your reply.

So when I change the setting within the composite product to ” apply to each component product” it will work without a shippingclass?

    Hi @bijdrager ,

FYI, if your composite is using either the “Include base price” or “Exclude bnase price” as the main pricing method, choosing to use apply the shipping fee on each subproduct means that the chosen shipping class you set in the Shipping tab of the composite product page will be calculated on each chosen item equally.

In either case, you should assign a shipping class for your composite in the Shipping tab so our plugin will know how much to charge for the shipping fee of the order including that composite.

    Best regards.

it is marked as resolved. but unfortunately it isn’t there are still products where the order amount of free shipping has been met. And where the shipping costs are still calculated.

I’ve set up a shipping class, assigned all products to this shippingclass and set the within the smart composite products > shipping costs to “add to complete composite”.
sometimes it works correct, sometimes it doesn’t.
