    Hi,

I am trying to adjust the shipping fee inside “Shipping Cost Calculation Rules” in Woocommerce. However, I am not able to find the shipping fee table which I have already built a year before. I would like to ask the reason behind and how can I retrieve it?

    Thank you

    Hi @spotnshopcompany,

From what you have written I understand that for unknown reason the shipping cost calculation rules table disappeared on the Flexible Shipping shipping method configuration screen – is that correct?

Could you please show us the screenshot illustrating how the Flexible Shipping shipping method configuration screen which does not include the rules table looks like at the moment in your shop?

    Kind regards,
    Luke

    Hi Luke,

    Thank you for reaching out.

That’s correct. The shipping cost calculation rules table disappeared for unknown reason. But I am not sure whether the table I am using is related to Flexible shipping plugin or the shipping function/plugin built by Woocommerce itself. (or is it a matter to know whether the table refers to which inventor…I don’t know)

Here are the directories to go into the 【shipping cost calculation rule】table:
    1. https://snipboard.io/rR8D7x.jpg
    2. https://snipboard.io/NoS2t6.jpg
    3. https://snipboard.io/5ryWHI.jpg

For link 3, it will go to 【shipping cost calculation rule】table when in normal condition, but now it appears as what you can see in link 3.

Hope you understand what I mean:)

    Thank you

Thank you @spotnshopcompany for the screenshots – they shed some light on the situation.

I believe that the problem you have encountered is related to the fact that you are still using the outdated and no longer supported Flexible Shipping Group shipping methods. It seems that the changes coming with the latest WooCommerce update must have had some influence on these methods and resulted in a visual bug with displaying their settings.

Please follow the instructions from the notice displayed at the top of the screen and hit the Start converting link to convert the deprecated Flexible Shipping Group methods to the actively supported single ones:

and let me know if it helped.

    Kind regards,

    @spotnshopcompany,

We have digged a little bit deeper and found out how to prevent it from happening on our side. It will be fixed with the next upcoming Flexible Shipping update.

    Kind regards,
    Luke

    Hi Luke,

Thank you so much for your help!

The shipping table appears again after following your instructions. So after hitting the “Start converting”, does it mean the “Flexible Shipping Group shipping methods” that I am using is updated?

    Thank you

    Hi Oscar,

It’s great to hear that it helped. Answering your question – yes, kind of – to cut the story short, the single Flexible Shipping methods are using the default WooCommerce shipping mechanisms which grants the better compatibility with the 3rd party solutions and further integrations used in the WooCommerce shops. What is more, all the new features we have implemented or are about to be added are meant to be used with the new single Flexible Shipping methods. The group ones are no longer supported, as it was stated in the notice displayed at the top of the screen. This is why, in order to keep everything up to date, it is highly advised to convert the previously used and deprecated Flexible Shipping Group methods to the new single ones.

    Kind regards,
    Luke

    @spotnshopcompany,

As I mentioned before, we have just released the Flexible Shipping 4.14.1 update containing the proper fixes preventing such issues from occuring also on our side.

If the WordPress updater hasn’t informed you about the newer versions available, please check for the updates manually by choosing Dashboard → Updates → Check Again option from the sidebar.

    Kind regards,
    Luke

    Hi @spotnshopcompany,

I deeply apologize for long time waiting for my response – without marking a user with @[nick] in the comment’s content it’s hard to track the further responses after the thread is marked as resolved.

Nevertheless, to answer your question – to be honest I’m not 100% sure which PayPal payment plugin exactly you are currently using, however, usually you should be able to reach the plugin’s author site directly from the WordPress’ installed plugins list by hitting this link:

    https://monosnap.com/file/zxEp0V93AwOZNsXtKpjIqqDdS5Gaz6

It should redirect you to the plugin’s author website where you should be able to find the proper contact information.

    Kind regards,
    Luke
