Shipping class qantity

Hi,

Iv’e set up flat rate shipping with different shipping classes.

When different shipping class items are added to the basket the shipping is added together.

If more than one item with the same shipping class is added only one of the shipping class costs are added.

Is there a way quantities for the same class shipping could be added together?
