I have 2 different options for shipping.

    “brievenbuspakketje” (€4,10) and “pakket 0-10kg” (€6,15)

For “brievenbspakketje” i would like to check in the checkout (shopping basket) if it is more than (for example) 6 items with the shippingclass “brievenbuspakketje” to change the shipping cost to the class “pakket 0-10k”.

I cant seem to find a plugin that does this. does anyone have recommendations or now some code i can add to change this?

    Thanks!

    Hi there,

Just to make sure we’re on the same page, can you explain why you want that shipping class to change? Are you looking to have tiered shipping prices based on the number of items in the cart?

Its beceause i sell tea (a bag is 50 grams) i can fit about 4 in the largest “brievenbuspakketje” which costs €4,10. If they buy more than 4 (sorry I said 6 in the text above) it has to change to a larger package and that costs €6,15 to send. Do you understand what i mean?

It simply doenst fit in the smaller box if its more of the same item. but shipping is more expensive.

    Hi again,

Thanks for explaining! For this, I’d recommend checking out the Table Rate Shipping extension, which will allow you to set the flat rate shipping rules required for this setup.

Is it possible to do this another way?

This can’t be done with just using WooCommerce, unfortunately. You’ll need either an extension such as Table Rate Shipping, or custom development to achieve it.
