    I have separate charges for shipping based on product category, one category is price based while the other is quantity based.

    When there are products from both categories in the cart, then both shipping charges are showing as choices, rather than fixed charges.

    How do I set this up so both of the shipping charges are applied, not provided as a choice?

    I have reviewed your query that, you want to force merge all the shipping methods during the checkout.

    Sorry to say but, your requirement about “force merge all the shipping methods” does not fulfill in our current plugin version.

    In our this version, all the shipping charges will display as choice only.

    Are you ever going to fix the bug, or are you just hoping people only need 1 shipping method on their sites?

    Thanks for asking about the Pro version features.

    Yes, in pro version you can configure our advanced global settings feature to forcefully merge all the shipping methods in one label and apply all the charges.

    Click here to review the document for how you can achieve it in Step – 4.

    We purchased the PRO version but it is VERY stressful to set up. My original settings didn’t work so I started all over. The Product doesn’t come up on the search field when I try to create a rule to apply to a Product in the cart (so I can setup the Quantity rules).

    Cart Contains Product = “No results found” every time I try to search.

    So I created a new category with just that one item, then tried using the Category instead:

    Shipping Method Rules = “Cart contains category’s product”

    and then tried to apply shipping charges like this:

    Advanced Shipping Price Rules: COST ON CATEGORY

    1 to 3 items from ABC category = $8.70
    4 – 10 items from ABC category = $!5.05
    11 to 18 items from ABC category = $21.10

    I have the actual Flat Rate Shipping Charge at $0 (so it doesn’t confuse the advanced rules).

    I added 1 item to the cart. It says the shipping is $17.40. It should only be $8.70

    Then I changed it to have 4 in the cart – now the shipping charge is $30.10. It should only be $15.05

    Shipping Charges are getting DOUBLED

    I looked through your documentation a bunch of times, there’s no information there on how to set up anything…. it’s too vague and doesn’t help.

    ok I split up the shipping rules into 3 separate rules instead of trying to use the Advanced Price rules (those seem to be buggy) and it worked, for the most part.

    I still cannot use the Product Search anywhere but I am able to use the Product Category so hopefully we never need to add another product to that category… If the product search gets fixed in the next release that would be ideal.
