Shipping by weight, not dimensions

    All the latest plugins.

    In the last couple days, something changed so that shipping dimensions are now required to return USPS shipping rates. I’m a recent convert from wp e-commerce, and I’ve only ever used weight based shipping. I have over 5000 products, most of which have variations, only about a dozen have dimensions entered, and it’s a few weeks before Christmas. Not going to happen. I still need to be able to make sales.

    Is there a plug-in to calculate USPS shipping based on weight only, or another way around this? I’d settle for a global override that made everything 1″ x 1″ x .1″ .

    Hi there!

    I’m not sure which USPS plugin you are using, but all of the shipping API plugins developed and supported by WooCommerce (USPS, UPS, FedEx) all require dimensions and weights. Both are needed to accurately calculate the shipping/figure out what can fit in what boxes.
