• Hi,

in the Command page, the text “Want to choose a specific shipping address?” is missing.
It should be displayed next to the checkbox.

I’ve deactivate all plugins but Elementor (Pro) and switched to a standard theme.
I don’t know if the problem comes from Elementor or Woocommerce.
I’ve also asked the Elementor support.

Thanks in advance for your help,
    best regards,
    Micha?l

    Hi @schemastudio

Thanks for reaching out. It sounds like you’ve already taken some good steps to isolate the issue. To better assist you, could you provide more details on when the text was last visible? If it was working before, are there any recent changes that might have affected it?

And, if you used third-party plugins to customize the checkout page or text, please mention them too. Screenshots of where you’d expect to see the text can be ver helpful. You can upload screenshots through a service like snipboard.io and share the link here (kindly include the URL).

    Looking forward to your response.

Any chance this is solved? We are running into the same issue since 24 december 2024

We’re currently waiting for a response from @schemastudio.

Since different sites may have unique builds, we recommend opening a new topic for your case so we can look into it separately. Please include the details we’ve asked for and possibly a link to this thread for more context. We’ll be happy to help you further.

    Hi @reynierc,

sorry to come back with so much delay…

    To answer your asking:

I don’t know when the text was last visible and I can’t tell what change might affected it.

Here is a screenshot to show where the text should be displayed. The text “Ajouter une adresse…” next to the checkbox has been added with some CSS.

Here is another screenshot to show the same page (staging web site) without the CSS trick.

    Hope it helps,

    best regards,

    Micha?l

    Hello Micha?l Baillot,

    Thank you for your reply.

No worries, we are here whenever you need us.

I checked the screenshots you shared.
Could you share screenshots after switching to a default theme like Storefront or Twenty Twenty-Four?
I want to confirm if this issue is related to your theme.

Also, share the URLs of both pages with me so I can inspect the code.
Please make sure both URLs are publicly accessible without any password.

Looking forward to your response. ??

    Hello @doublezed2,

thank-you for your answer. The issue is the same with the Twenty-Twenty-Five theme:

    Theme | Checkout page

    And here are the URLs:

    Hi there!

Thanks for sharing the details. For security reasons, we do not recommend sharing temporary credentials in this forum. We don’t have any alternative secure method to receive credentials here.

Instead, I suggest you temporarily set your staging site to public for testing purposes. This will allow us to investigate the issue and guide you properly. Based on my testing with the Twenty-Twenty-Five theme, I’m currently not able to replicate the issue, which indicates that there may be a plugin or custom code on your site causing the problem.

Please update your staging site’s access settings and let us know once it’s available, so we can take a closer look.

    Hi @schemastudio,

Thank you for making the staging site public. I reviewed the page, and the shipping address fields are indeed present. In WooCommerce, users typically need to select the “Ship to a different address” option for the shipping fields to appear. However, in your case, the text for this option is missing, though the checkbox is still visible, as shown in this video: https://www.loom.com/share/1ac7084fc46740c28cefaf89e354117f?sid=e97a2e26-7829-48a9-a9c1-6b8e1d683f85.

Additionally, I inspected your staging site and noticed that your checkout page is built using Elementor, and you’re using the Hello Elementor child theme. This suggests that customizations may have been made to your site through the child theme.

To help determine if the issue is related to Elementor, could you switch your theme to Storefront on the staging site, disable Elementor, and use the default WooCommerce checkout page? This will help us identify whether Elementor is causing the issue.
