Well, in WCFM Marketplace vendor shipping is nothing less than what you can do as Admin in WC Shipping. Everything is supported and few filters are additionally available here.

Now this even support Shipping Class as well.

Well, it’s not a big deal to add another new field for getting additional information, you already has registration custom field (https://wclovers.com/knowledgebase/wcfm-marketplace-vendor-registration/) for option for this.
