Ship to groups of countries

    First off, amazing plugin. I Googled for 2 minutes and found it, and it’s fairly simple to set up.

    My question is, is there a way to pre-select a group of countries, instead of individual countries one by one? My client’s site is shipping to the following groups:

    United States
    Canada
    Europe
    Asia
    Oceania (Australia, Polynesia, Micronesia)

    Obviously the US and Canada are countries and can be selected right away. I just feel it would be a bit painstaking to constantly select each and every country from, say, Europe, for the different weight ranges they sell their products in, for each shipping rate for any part of Europe. Is there a way I can upload an entire list of countries via copy and paste, or a CSV file? I’ve tried having a list of comma separated countries to copy and paste into the “Select some countries” field, but Woocommerce doesn’t recognize that method.

    Unfortunately, there is no way to operate on country groups or copy/paste them currently. I tried to found out an appropriate plugin with no luck. I also tried to implement it on my own but it appears that it would take too much time from me to finish it.

    You can create a new WooCommerce support thread and request this feature there. I’m not sure if WooCommerce team will consider this feature important to include in WC core but someone else reading your topic could implement it as a separate plugin.

    Ok thanks! I just wanted to confirm whether this would work within your plugin or not. I guess it’s more prudent to see if Woocommerce would entertain this as a feature. Thanks for looking into it, I appreciate it.

    Would it actually be possible for this plugin to have an option to Clone a configuration? So if I go through entering the configuration for say, one weight range for all of Europe, it would be so much easier to then just duplicate that configuration and just change the weight range and shipping cost, then save. Do you have any plans to put this in as a feature for future releases?

    That’s definitely useful feature. I’m going to implement it with the next release by the end of the next week I think.

    I had to use a different plugin in the end since I was on a bit of a deadline for that project, but thank you so much for looking into that feature request. I will be using your plugin for future projects using Woocommerce.
