“Ship to different address” in checkout is selected as default

    Hello,

    After the latest update, the “Ship to a different address” is now always preselected as default when you go through to Checkout. This I find very annoying for the customers.

    Is this a bug and have you made this change on purpose? How can I stop this checkbox from being selected as default?

    The “Default to customer billing address” option in WooCommerce basically does not work now.

    I’m having this issue too, the shipping destination is already set to ” Default to customer billing address”

    I tried to add this code to my functions.php file but the issue is still there:

    add_filter( 'woocommerce_ship_to_different_address_checked', '__return_false' );

    Kindly let us know if this is a bug.

    Thanks for checking in on the box being checked by default for “Ship to a different address”.

    This is a known bug that will be fixed in the next point release.
