Shifting to New Version ( What to do when been using old one for a while )

  • Been using this one for more than 2 Years now, And seems some of the redirects somehow just do disappear ( not sure why )

    So thinking shifting to new version might help, still as been using it for a while so not sure how to handle around 600 redirects that are already created ( And if there’s a way to import / export data ) so can make the shift.

  • @mohank21, you’ll be quite pleased to know that shifting to the new version is as simple as:

    Deactivating the current plugin (and deleting it)
    Installing the rw version.
    Activating it.

    No data migration needed. I’m using the existing structure of this plugin. ??

    Thanks, tried adding new one. It did show all of the previous redirects, but not sure why its not redirecting now.

    Can check on staging site for : https://k21academy.staging.wpengine.com/oam01 ( One of the urls )

    & a follow up reply on this one.

    Started this migration because Re-directs in this version keep disappearing after a while ( doesn’t happen for all but randomly for urls so not sure how many urls stopped working in this ( old ) version )
