Sharp decrease in downloads/plays

Hi @rghedin we’ve not had any other reports of shop drop offs in analytics using Seriously Simple Stats. Either here in the support forums or in our email support.

Has anything else with your site or podcast setup changed around that time? Has traffic to your website changed in a similar way around that timeframe?

Nothing has changed, actually, just regular plugin and core updates. Honestly, I don’t know which numbers are right, if the current ones or those before that sharp decrease (by the way, they’re still low).

Is there any way to audit those numbers? I just want to be sure that SSP is tracking them correctly.

You can use a service like podtrac.com or chartable.com which are external analytics tools and we find to be both very similar and pretty consistent.
