    Hi,

I do have strange problem. First of all if I connect my wordpress to Facebook, the lite popup window lets me chose if I want to publish as a person or as a page. BUT the “OK” Button is not inside the popup window but on the top of the browserwindow. And second I can chose the page, press OK, but it still wants to share to my personal account?

I am using a brand new wordpress with a brandnew jetpack and no plugins.

I do have another wordpress site with jetpack wonderfully working where I can publish to a page, and the OKbutton is where it belongs.

    Thanks in advance
    Miriam

    Jetpack Mechanic ??

BUT the “OK” Button is not inside the popup window but on the top of the browserwindow.

It could be that one of your plugins, or your theme, inserts CSS into your admin pages that breaks the Publicize screen layout. Could you try to deactivate each one of your plugins, one at a time, and then switch to one of the default themes like Twenty Fifteen, and let me know if you find a conflicting plugin or theme?

but it still wants to share to my personal account?

Could you check this support page and let me know exactly at what point you run into issues, so I can try to reproduce?

If you’d like to post a screenshot of the problem here, you can use a service like https://snag.gy/ to host your screenshots.

    Thanks!

    Hi

    thanks for the fast help!
I switched to Twenty fifteen and indeed the ok button is where it belongs ??

I did everything on the support page, but I still cannot connect as a page to FB. I can chose one of my pages and press ok, but it stills shows my personal account and publishes to this.

Do you ever get to this part of the modal?

If so, does it list your Facebook Page there? If it doesn’t, even when using Twenty Fifteen, could you make sure you’re listed as an admin on that Facebook Page?

Let me know how it goes.

Yes I get there. It shows me like in the examlpe my personal site and my two pages.
I can even mark one page. But it won′t change it on the settings-sharings-site.

    Sorry for the inconvenience

But it won′t change it on the settings-sharings-site.

I’m not sure I understand that last part. Do you mean that the settings revert to share to your personal Facebook Profile when you click to save your changes, after selecting your Facebook Page?

    Yes exactly!

    Could you try the following:

    1) Go the Jetpack menu in your dashboard
    2) Click on “My Jetpack” at the top of the page.
    3) Click on “Disconnect Site from WordPress.com” if your site is currently connected to WordPress.com.
    4) Confirm the disconnection.
    5) Click on the Connect button to connect your site to WordPress.com again.

Once you’ve done so, go to https://wordpress.com/sharing and try to reset your Publicize connection there.

Let me know how it goes.

I did disconnect, but it didn′t help. After that I deactivated and deinstalled Jetpack. Installed it again, connected it and now it works!

    Thanks for your patience!
