This is a rather strange issue (ok, I am OCD, sue me). I have the sharing buttons at the bottom of each post/page. Come to think of it, this may be a jetpack issue? Anyway, just point me in the right direction…..

When I click the FB button (or Twitter or G+) to share an article that is on my website/blog, it shares an image of one of my sponsors. The same one, every time…..as it is an image on the footer of my website/blog. IF I share using the FB button, it does not allow me to delete or remove the image before posting.

The BIG BLUE banner is what I DO NOT want to show on each share

help? and thank you ??

here is a print screen image of the facebook share https://www.steppingstonestocrystalbasics.com/image-issue/

when I share from the website, there is no X in the corner to remove the image…..:(

I see that you are using Jetpack Open Graph meta tags, please correct the image for this post or remove the Jetpack OG tags and use Yoast SEO as it gives you more control on the OG tags. Please check the facebook URL debug, it shows an invalid image and hence i think it’s falling back to site image or an old image.

thank you! I am getting less fond of jetpack these days. I am not familiar with HOW to remove the jetpack OG tags but I will do some research and figure it out. Thank you so much for the time you have spent figuring this out for me ?? I truly am grateful!
