Sharing to often after publish

Hi Tom,

How many times did the post actually get shared to LinkedIn though? Sure on that screenshot it appears as if it has been shared multiple times, but how many times did the post appear on LinkedIn?

It’s likely on the post you have the ‘don’t share this post’ checkbox unchecked? This is shown in this image here: https://ps.w.org/wp-linkedin-auto-publish/assets/screenshot-5.jpg?rev=1563852

If this checkbox is unchecked every time you update the post it will try and share the post to LinkedIn. BUT, LinkedIn often won’t actually permit the sharing of the same URL and content over and over again, so although it may look like it has been shared multiple times, it probably actually hasn’t been shared multiples on LinkedIn.

When a post is first published this checkbox I mentioned before automatically is checked to prevent what you said from occurring.

exactly the same number of shares are on the linkedin company page.It doesn’t if it is an automatic share mode or the manually….

I think it was unchecked. But now I deactivate the plugin, because it didn’t work properly.
