Sharing Selected Images

    I am wondering if this plugin will let me share a library of images between sites on a multisite install, but not allow sites to access images from each other.

    I have a multisite setup with 7 news web sites for radio stations. All of the stations have subscriptions to various sources for images. Right now, they are all downloading and uploading the same images for each site. So there’s 7 copies of the exact same image on the server.

    I’d rather they use a “pool” for subscription images that they all share. And when they upload an image, they have a choice between uploading it to the local subsite, or adding it to the network pool.

    But, they can’t access local images from the other sites.

    Possible?

    Hi, I’m trying to figure out how to select only the images I want to be shared on the network. It appears that all images are shared and I can’t pick and choose the ones I want to show in Network.

    I thought this thread answered this , but it seems to be a different issue.

    Can I do this with this plugin?

    Best open a new thread for new questions, but since we’re here:

    No, you can’t select the specific images you want to share. A workaround could be to setup a specific blog for your images, give all editors the appropriate rights to that blog and put all images you like to share there.
