sharing options only showing up as text

Hello – I installed the plug-in on a client site and it only shows up as text that looks like:
Share the post “How to Combine Your Creative Passions with Your Career”
Facebook
Twitter
LinkedIn
E-mailImages won’t show up. I’ve used plug-in on several sites and have never had this problem before.

Note – I did not create this site, it is a custom theme created by a developer my client used to work with and I have found a lot of issues with it.
