Sharing on Facebook: Description shows up as html text

    Hi there,

    I’m using super socializer on my site https://frances.menu/apricot-jam/.

    Whenever I click the ‘facebook icon’ to share on facebook, the description shows a bunch of html, although I have a facebook specific description provided through yoast SEO plugin which has worked reliably in the past. I would appreciate it very much if you could take a look and see how this issue can be solved.

    Here is the html text that shows:

    Hi,

    It happens due to Facebook sharer cache maintained at Facebook’s end. You would like to follow the instructions mentioned in Troubleshooter section at Super Socializer > Social Sharing page in admin panel.
