Sharing – No twitter count

  • Twitter changed their requirements. They don’t allow counters on anything but Official Buttons.

    You can try changing your Button Styles to Official Buttons to test.

    As @johnnadeau mentioned, this is due to a change on Twitter’s end. They will no longer display counts on the Twitter button, regardless of the button type, due to the API changes they’ve made in the past few weeks.

    However, and since you’ve enabled many sharing buttons on your site, I’d recommend switching back to one of the non-official button types. Displaying so many official sharing buttons will have a significant impact on your site’s performance.
