sharing images between blog posts

    Someone posted in another reply that we should never use the same image in two or more articles? I know that this can be problematic if you change the description on one it changes on all. So if you HAVE to change the description then I would add a second iteration of the same image.

    But it seems it would save space if you use the same image in different posts… Thoughts?

    Is there some harm in this that I don’t know about?

    The only harm to using the same image in multiple posts is that deleting or altering the image affects multiple posts.

    As long as you know that, there’s no reason not to use the same image in multiple posts; the space-saving alone is a huge benefit. ??

    Thanks, that is what I thought but but while I’ve been using wordpress for 15 years, I don’t get under the hood so when a plugin creator said that I was like whoops… maybe I’ve been doing it wrong…
