Since the pull request in this topic every site has its own local directory for the hosted fonts. I have a multisite with multiple sites in one domain and some sites in an other domain. Each domain has the same font configuration. Is it possible to make an option to share the font configuration in one site with another site?
    Thank you very much.

P.S. Sharing not only the configuation. The URL should the same also.

  • Hi, I’m responsible for the pull request that moved the fonts/ directory to individual site upload paths. The main reason was exactly because the shared fonts would cause issues when (for example) settings on one site were changed, the changes affected all other sites that use the same font.

I did think about your case, where it might be desirable to use shared fonts but did not implement any solution for it. The main reason: it would need a dedicated network admin page (or settings section) plus a way to disable individual sites to change their settings (affecting all others with shared fonts). This needs much more attention and testing…

But it would indeed be an interesting feature ??

    Hi There!

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. @ravanh we could add a new settings to allow uses to define a path for the fonts. This can be useful multi site installations.

Feel free to open a PR as you did already.

    Thanks for your contribution.

Thank you very much. If it is not possible, it would not be bad. The theme, for example, I also have to set up several times in the same way …
