• Is there a way to add a page using the Virtue theme, in order to (safely and securely) have a specific Sharepoint folder work within a page on our site?

  • Hey, thanks for reaching out.

Can you please provide some more information regarding what you’re trying to accomplish? Are you wanting to display this folder on a password protected page? Or something else?

Thanks in advance for any additional information you can provide.

    Best,
    Kevin

Yes, I’d like to have a page on our website where people outside the organization can access it, without them having to remember a long Sharepoint URL – they would just need to remember a short URL on our site, ie: alnh.ca/page.

So, the root folder (and others within) would look just like they were on Sharepoint, but within the frame of our website. To access the page they would need to enter a password.

    Does that make sense?

    Thanks for the additional information.

WordPress has a default password protected page feature built in. Here’s a quick video showing how it works:

Beyond that default option, Kadence doesn’t offer nay additional password protection features. There are plugins out there that may work for you, but I don’t have any recommendations off the top of my head.

Let us know if password protection works for you!

    Best,
    Kevin
