Shared URL is post ID not post name

Hi, I noticed when the link is shared via the mashshare buttons for pinterest, twitter, etc. the URL to the post is example.com/?p=3980 vs example.com/post-name/. Where is this controlled in the setting of Mashshare.
Seperately, our FB share button on each one of our media items on a page doesn’t do anything when you click the FB button. Is there a setting we need to update?
