Shared text that has link

  • Hello,

    I have noticed there is a problem when I want to share on Facebook a piece of text where an active link is included (sometimes in the text of the article there are active links on diferent words).
    How can I fix this?

    Mmm interesting, I will check this and will try to find a solution. Do you got an example of where you are experiencing this behaviour so I can see it?

    I am noticing the exact same issue. Also if any part of the text is italicised it will include the code in the share. Only on LinkedIN and Facebook. It seems Twitter is fine

    Mmm okay that for sure does not look how it’s supposed to work. Thanks for the screen recording, gives a good explanation. Time to start looking into why this is happening.

    @raven747, thanks for the kind words and the extra update, so it seems more just HTML code in general then.

    I have tested it, it works perfectly on twitter, so it is confirmed it only has the issue on Facebook and LinkedIn. I hope that helps narrow it down!
