    Hi,

Great and intuitive plugin here. I was wondering if there’s a way to manage shared stock between products.

For example: I have to sell 100 different pillow designs and I set them up as different products but they all share the same stock (since I custom print the designs when the orders come in). Is there a way or a plan to add a way to do that?

I don’t want a product with 100 variants cus that wouldn’t be functional for the shop. I already have variants setup for other customizations posibilities like size or color.

Thanks for your time and effort developing this tool!

    Hi brisamia,

Thank you very much for your question and the most for using ATUM.

It seem your case is very easy to handle by our Product Levels add-on. I know this is a payable option and I have no intention to push you in to the purchase. However, this is a BOM feature that can handle your business structure.

Let me explain: your 100 pillows are not a finished products as you still have to complete them by the custom design. You would create a bill of material (BOM) called pillows as a Product Part. The stock would be 100.
I imagine you have created a normal product for each design. So all you have to do is to attach 1 pillow as a product part. Then when your design sells, the system deducts relevant amount of pillows from Stock.

We are now intensively working on the latest update due to be out later next week. Our team is adding the ability to track any depth of manufacturing.

It may be easier if you visit our official add-on page and watch my video tutorials https://www.stockmanagementlabs.com/addons/atum-product-levels/

If you need anything else or you think this is not what you want, let me know. We build ATUM for users and every reasonable featured request is added to the development schedule.

    Hope this helps,

    Best Regards,

    Pavel

I purchased the add-on and I have two posible features I’d really use if you add them:
-Many suppliers per product part: Right now I can add just one and that makes me create duplicate product parts.
-Variants for product parts: If I want to consider a plane TShirt a product part, then I’ll have to add a product part for each size, color and material variant and that is cumbersome to maintain.

    Hi brisamia,

Thank you, I am glad you are back because I have good news for you.

Product Levels update is on its way and should be out this week. We have included full nesting so you can add product part to product part to raw material to product part and go as many levels as you want ??

The multi supplier feature is on its way too, but not this week he. It is little more complex and we hope to do this early next year.

    Hope I helped a little.

    Pavel
