Shared SSL – How best to configure

Ok…I know this has been asked but I can’t seem to find an answer
1) I want to use the postname for the permalinks
2) https://www.domain.com — works fine
3) https://shareddomain.com/username — works fine
4) https://shareddomain.com/usersname/pagename — displays root of shareddomain.comDo I need to adjust the htaccess file in the root of the site or is there something the plugin can do to still display the page
