• Ok,
I’m using the plugin settings FORCE_SSL_ADMIN and FORCE_SSL_EXCLUSIVELY.

As this is a test website for now, the home URL is https://www.besharptherapy.com/v4.
The secure URL is secure26.prositehosting.co.uk/v4 (the plugin seems to drop the v4 when the settings are saved).

The v4 directory on the server is protected by the shared SSL certificate on my hosting service.

I only intend to secure front-end pages where the user can submit information to me, e.g. the Profile page.

My problem is that although I am correctly forced to log in over https, when I’m viewing an http page, e.g. my welcome page, it looks like I am not logged in. (The Meta widget in the left sidebar shows Log In rather than Log Out).

I’ve tried all sorts of combinations, but I just can’t seem to get this to work.

    Any ideas?
