Sharebar not appearing in blog page (index.php)

Hey people,

Sharebar is appearing in my posts and pages, but not in the blog overview page (index.php). Searching older support questions, i conclude there used to be a third option: show in index – next to posts and pages. Has that gone? How can i make the sharebar appear in the blog index?
