Shareaholic – Not in the allowed path

    A problem with sexybookmarks

    The bad, the stange and the good

    The bad: I get a message that /includes is not in the allowed path and other similar messages. I changed ‘/includes/’ by the complete path. The message disappeared but comes another onr: ‘spritegen is not writable’ (yes it is).

    The strange: it’s the only plugin with this problem. I’ve others plugins with ‘/includes’ subdirs, and they don’t give any problem.

    The good: I tried the plugin before in my desktop computer (with XAMPP) and I love it. I LOVE IT. Si I do hope someone can find me a solution.

    Post data: remember: others plugins find the path without problem, I don’t beleive there’s a problem with Apache or PHP. ??

    @pikkabbu apologies for the delay in getting back to you!

    Reg. the /spritegen directory, all directories within the /spritgen directory also have to be writable. In case 755 is not working, try 777. Somes servers tend to be fussy about this.

    Hello, and thanks for the answer.

    It has been a difficult problem for me to resolve, but tks to internet and all this stuff available, I did it.

    The solution has been a .htaccess file at root folder.

    And it works fine.

    Don’t knoe exactly why, but it works ??
