    I sent a direct message to Shareaholic support, but there was no response so I’m posting here.

    Since I upgraded to the latest version of WordPress 4.3.1. the Shareaholic counters do no longer update numbers, i.e. recent shares are not reflected in the numbers. The numbers have remained frozen at the same count for days now even though my articles have been shared several tens of times on different social media.

    I checked each of these pages on SharedCount which confirmed that the numbers displayed by Shareaholic are from at least a week ago.

    I don’t think this is a cache problem as I’m saying the same issue on other devices.

    I sent my URL to the email you gave me last time.

    I also added a detailed comparison between the numbers shown and the numbers that should be shown (the actual numbers).

    Hi Mary Anne,

    The issue is becoming an urgent one on my side as my Shareaholic counters are still frozen and are no longer reflecting the real activity of my website. I haven’t seen them updating numbers since I wrote you the first time, more than a week ago.

    Is there any hope to resolve this?

    Have you had the time to check the email I sent you and have a look at the issue on my website?

    Any help would really be greatly appreciated.

    Hi again Mary Anne,

    Have you had a chance to read my follow-up emails ?

    I managed to (only) partly solve the problem by ticking “”Disable server-side Share Counts API” in the “Advanced Settings”. As a result, my FB count immediately jumped from 53 to +560, and the Twitter, Linkedin and Pinterest counters now also seem to display the correct numbers.

    However, for Google+ and Stumbleupon there are no numbers at all anymore.

    I have no WordPress cache plugins running on my website and my website is hosted on a VPS where no server side caching has been set up.

    Is there any way to solve the problem for Google+ and Stumbleupon as well?

    Could you please have a look at the email I sent you where I provide further details?
