Share users between WordPress and Coppermine

  • Hi,

    I’ve WordPress and Coppermine installed on my site. But I would like them to share the same user database.. i.e. if one registers/login for WordPress, he’ll be automatically registered/logged-in for Coppermine too (and vice versa – if possible).

    My Coppermine version is 1.4.x & WordPress version is 2.1.3.

    Is there a way to get this done? I’ve tried various coppermine plugins but they don’t seem to work with Coppermine 1.4x. I guess it’s more of a database solution, but I’m a newbie with SQL/etc, so I’d appreciate any help.

    Hi, I′m looking for the same functionality. I found this plugin “https://blog.artworkz.net/?p=283” it lets you put galleries and links to your coppermine gallery, and more or less integrate it with your wordpress.

    In the plugin′s configuration page there are two options:
    Integrate Users and Import Users. I think what we are looking for is the first one, I want to share the session and not to be forced to log twice one for wordpress and another for coppermine. (But this plugin′s functionality doesn′t work with Coppermine 1.4.x ) I think the second option is for register users only once in wordpress and then copy this to coppermine.

    I′m testing yet if. I get something I′ll let you know

    And please if anyone knows how to do it please answer us

    hi~ i tried this plugin too, but both integrate users and import users doesn’t seem to work (i also saw the “incompatible with coppermine 1.4.x” note as well) ??

    I have seen alot of posting regarding this topic; and perhaps I just don’t have the skills to make it happen so I can’t how obvious this is, but I need to share the users between WP and CPG. As both products are mature and stable I will assume there is a plugin or reasonable way to accomplish the sharing of users. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
