Share to Twitter – count disappears

  • Hi there, thanks for the great plugin. I am trying to setup the share counter, the one at the end of the icons, that is a total of all the shares. To test my configs, I shared the homepage to my twitter, hoping the count would increase by 1. The tally disappeared entirely. I guess its not working.

    So far, ive followed the link to twitcount to setup an account there. I did not paste any short code back into the website (you mentioned not to, in the plugin). What am i doing wrong?

    Thanks for the appreciation ??
    The Twitter shares are tracked by Twitcount. If you don’t see any shares tracked for your web pages in the Twitcount dashboard, plugin also won’t show any with the Twitter share icon. You would like to contact Twitcount support if you feel the shares are not being tracked even after sharing a web page.
